The Safety & Risk Management Division provides ongoing safety training and education. One important goal is to ensure all new employees pass through an initial safety orientation and an annual Safety Incentive Program is offered to encourage employees to work safely. We work with all City divisions to ensure safe working practices and procedures.
If and when a City employee is involved in an incident (bodily injury and/or property damage), an Employee Incident Report form must be completed and the supervisor and Safety & Risk Management Coordinator must be contacted immediately in order to investigate.
