The Investment Advisory Committee advises the Finance Director and City Administrator on investment matters. Responsibilities include periodic reviews of the investment policy, making recommendations for the development of an asset portfolio of the investments for the City of Gillette in compliance with Wyoming Statues that limits risk and provides adequate liquidity in an effort to maximize the rate of return. Other functions may include establishing benchmarks and helping assess information acquired during the selection process of a vendor to utilize for the investment of City Funds. This is a two-year term, with meetings held the 3rd Thursday of each new quarter (January, April, July, and October).
