The Administrative Services Department includes the City's internal service divisions (Building Maintenance, City Clerk, Fleet, Geographical Information Services (GIS), Gillette Public Access (GPA) Television, Information Technology (IT), Judicial, Print Shop, Safety/Risk Management services, and Sustainability).
With over 40 employees, this department serves internal and external customers, and is vital to the day-to-day operations of the City.

Building Maintenance
The Building Maintenance Division is responsible for custodial and maintenance work at all City facilities, including the buildings at Dalbey Park.
City Clerk
The City Clerk's office is responsible for recording the proceedings of the City Council, maintaining custody of minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and issuing permits and licenses. The division staff includes City Clerk, Judicial, and Print Shop.
Fleet
The City's ASE-certified technicians maintain a fleet of 220 vehicles, including patrol cars, street sweepers, snow plows, & bucket trucks, as well as more than 220 pieces of small equipment.
Geographical Information Services
GIS staff collects and assembles geographic data, provides support for the City of Gillette's mapping needs and assists City departments and divisions with projects. City Online Map
Gillette Public Access (GPA)
The GPA Division manages the three PEG (Public, Educational, & Governmental) television channels, providing information about the community to its citizens.
Information Technology
IT staff manages technology services for City staff and maintains the City's internal and external websites. They also provide support and training for hardware and software and oversee the City's fiber and mobile technology networks.
Safety & Risk Management
The Safety & Risk Management Division ensures that City staff are following proper safety procedures and works with City departments and divisions to create educational programs to prevent incidents.
Sustainability
This division works with other City departments and divisions to increase efficiency and reduce waste. The Sustainability division is also responsible for working with the public to create awareness campaigns on conservation and recycling.
