The Parks and Beautification Board is a seven-member citizen advisory board committed to the timely development of Gillette’s parks and open spaces. The Board’s primary objective lies in previewing development plans and making recommendations concerning parkland acceptance. The Board also pursues an ongoing beautification program, sets policies for 1% tax spending for park improvement projects, and updates policies and ordinances related to community landscaping, forestry, beautification and administers the Landscape Incentive Grant Program.
The board meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Conference Room on the 2nd Floor of City Hall.
